Gently Does It
Ever had an endoscope returned from Theatre as unusable due to damage?
More often than not, the reason is that the camera lens has been scratched during cleaning. Imagine leaving your brand-new BMW at the car wash for a clean, only to return and find a big, ugly key scratch along the side! Just like a luxury vehicle, extra care needs to be taken when manually cleaning delicate instruments to ensure they’re not damaged as repairing or replacing these is costly.
Ordinarily, channel cleaning brushes feature an unprotected ‘scraper’ tip which is useful when you need to remove baked-on bioburden on stainless surgical instruments. On the contrary, this type of tip is not ideal with delicate instruments as it may scratch or damage them.
The solution? Acrylic Tip cleaning brushes.
On top of the added tip protection, the cleaning brush rods are Acrylic which resist kinking and coiling whilst allowing to adequately flex and navigate easily through channels and lumens. And on top of the added tip protection, and added flexibility, the bristles are embedded with an antimicrobial agent which prevents the growth of bacteria, mould and yeast on the bristle surface extending the life of these brushes.
Clean your delicate instruments smart, not hard, with Acrylic Tip brushes.
A superior product and safer alternative.
