The Xact® Classic wheelchair cushion combines a shear reducing Akton® polymer top with a multilayer foam base to create a comfortable, therapeutic seating experience for the wheelchair user.
This wheelchair cushion provides forward and lateral positional support and pressure relieving properties. It is most often recommended for wheelchair users who do not transfer or self-propel. A soft, viscoelastic foam ischial insert provides targeted comfort and pressure relief for bony prominences.
The multi-layer foam base is vacuum-sealed with a fluid resistant, flexible, protective wrap that helps extend the life and performance of the cushion. The Body Smart® Cover design helps to prevent sacral seating and reduces risk of shearing in high-risk areas.
